Who
we are: Hi. I'm Jason, the American owner and operator of The Transylvanian Travel Company. When not giving tours in Romania, I study for a PhD in European History at Yale University. My wife, Adela, accompanies me on the tours and acts as co-guide and translator. She is a native Romanian from Timisoara and schooled as an artist. We both are excited to welcome travelers to Transylvania and to offer the most customized, informative, and moderately priced tours of historic Romania. The Transylvania Travel Company specializes in
flexible itineraries rich in historical detail, cultural interaction,
and off-the-beaten-path locations.
